Not a flat line on a map. The actual mountains you climbed, rendered in relief. GPS and elevation data, interpreted at the scale of your piece. Adjust the relief to bring the landscape into view.

The things people ask before their first one.

Can I keep it a surprise?

Yes. Start with an example course without connecting the recipient’s account. Check it against their race edition, add the personal details and save your preview privately. If their course isn’t listed, email us the race name and year for help.

When will it arrive?

We make your print in 3 days, then ship it. Shipping time is additional and depends on the destination. If your gift needs to arrive by a particular date, contact hello@namepop.studio before ordering.

What about gift packaging and stands?

Contact us before ordering to arrange gift packaging, delivery to the recipient, or a particular stand. A hanging loop is available under Advanced customisation → Markers, frame & display.

How closely does the print follow my route?

Your GPS track supplies the route, and elevation data supplies the landscape. Both are simplified to fit a small physical print. Relief can be exaggerated for legibility; the preview is a design representation, not a photograph of the finished piece.

Can I make a sailing passage?

Yes. Upload your recorded passage as a GPX and choose Sail. Add the boat, crew and crossing date to the inscription. Distance is shown in kilometres; duration appears when the track contains timestamps. For a graphic open-water piece, you can switch terrain off under Landscape & map layers.

How do I get my activity in?

Connect Strava and paste a link to one of your activities or pick from a list — or drop a .gpx exported from any watch or app (Garmin, Wahoo, Komoot, Apple Watch…).

Do I need to connect Strava?

No. You can upload a GPX directly. When Strava connection is available, you authorise access through Strava so the studio can list your activities and import the one you choose.

What size is it, and what does it cost?

Plaques run from about 7 to 22 cm across. The price updates with your design. Your review shows the print price and shipping before you continue to checkout.

What's it made of?

PLA filament, 3D printed in your chosen colours. Fine layer lines are part of the finish. Screen colours and lighting can differ from the physical print.

Can I hang it?

You can add a hang loop under Markers, frame & display. Contact us before ordering if you need a particular stand or mounting arrangement.
